mentoring connects a young person to personal growth and development, and social and economic opportunity. Yet one in three young people will grow up without this critical asset.

We want AMEN to be the source of the critical mentorship in the Asal areas of Kenya.
The project aims to increase access to education for disadvantaged adolescent girls in extremely poor households and improve the education status for those already attending schools.

The project has two components; Component:

  1. keeping girls in school and
  2. Institutional strengthening and systems building

Where we work

As a Kenyan registered CBO, our scope is national. However the initial area of operations is Marsabit County in Upper Eastern Region. The aim is to start small and grow bigger with time to the rest of Kenya where needs that are in line with our mission and vision is identified.
